Setting Up CloudyCluster
Prior to setting up your CloudyCluster Environment, you must create an Initial Control Instance using the CloudFormation Template. You will have the option of using the RHEL operating system, for which there is a small fee on AWS, or the CentOS operating system, for which there is no additional charge.
CloudyCluster is launched in 3 phases or steps. The first phase is to launch a control node, then an HPC environment, followed by autoscaling HPC compute resources based on the jobs that are submitted to CCQ.
